How to call phones from Skype

Buy a little credit

To make a call to a phone or mobile anywhere in the world with Skype you’ll need Skype Credit. If you already have credit it will appear next to your name.

Call ordinary phones

If not you don’t have any credit, you’ll need to purchase Skype Credit.

Make a call

Once you have Skype Credit you’re all set to make a call, here’s how:

1. Open the Call Phones tab in Skype.

Find your friends who are using Skype

2. Select the country you are calling.
3. Enter your friend’s phone number including country code.
4. Press the big green button to make the call.

Save contacts

Once a call has finished, you can save the number in your contacts.

So, for the future, click the History tab, right click a previously dialled number and select Add to Contacts. You can rename the contact as you wish.
